Personal Statement:

I have completed a HND in Jewellery and Silversmithing at School of Jewellery and a BA in Design for Industry at Birmingham City University (BCU).  My passion lies in the closely related fields of jewellery, silversmithing and three-dimensional design.  I am a highly motivated and focused individual with a strong ambition to work within the jewellery industry.  I find that I am truly captivated by this area of design and wish to pursue a career in Jewellery and Silvermithing.  My enthusiasm, dedication and determination assure the fulfilment of my career and employment aspirations.

Work Experience:

Delcam, one week designing and producing a piece of high quality jewellery using ArtCAM and JewelSmith. I gained extensive training and experience in using CAD CAM software as tool to create innovative jewellery pieces in a quick and efficient way.

Part-time jobs:

I have recently worked in the high street retailers Monsoon/ Accessorize. Here I devloped and refined my skills in good customer service, I have learned how to sell the right product to the right customer. I have also come to understand how to distinguish what current and rising fashion trends are and I am able to speculate how the trends may evolve.

Hobbies and Interests:

I have variety of different hobbies and interests that reflect my lively personality: I like playing sports such as rounders and netball. I am a very creative person as I enjoy drawing, painting and making bead jewellery for my friends and family.  To relax I enjoy listening to range of different music and reading books, I am currently part of a book club. I love to socialise with friends and I am a great fan of musical theatre. I find gardening really relaxing and I enjoy working on my granddads allotment.
